During the initial consultation we learnt that the client was very passionate about her cats, and the web site (www.elmridgecats.co.uk) had two main roles. The web site needed to act as a showcase for two distinct breeds and allow new litters of kittens to be advertised.
develop:
We decided to start this project with a quick branding exercise, adding some playful cats to the main heading 'Elmridge Cats'. The cat theme was then carried through using a paw print motif.
design:
The client loved the initial ideas and from several colour schemes chose this sophisticated blue and cream one. The site was then developed for PHP hosting with a small admin section using a MYSQL database which allows new litters of kittens to be added.
