The single most important thing that we have learned in this business is that no customer has the same requirements, and that certainly holds true for Bentley European Transport Limited.
When we first spoke to Shaun at Bentley he said he wanted something different, so over the next 24 hours we had several telephone conversations, played email tennis with sketches and had pretty much nailed down what they wanted.
The next stage was the same for any design project, draw up all the necessary items, scan and the create everything in digital format, then the fun really started. Right from the start we decided this site should be based on our content management system (WAVE). The benefits of developing the site this way are clear as it has the same security features, accessibility and of course upgrades as all our other sites. The test on this site was with the un-conventional menu system, fortunately we have built more flexibility into WAVE and although this site stretched it to the limits it proved our changes were well worth while.
